Tickets for the live show are on sale now.
The line-up for the Choice Music Prize live event on March 5 has been confirmed – with Irish Album of the Year nominees CMAT, Amble, Joshua Burnside, Junior Brother, Just Mustard, pôt-pot, and SPRINTS all set to perform at Vicar Street, Dublin.
The winners – in categories including Irish Album of the Year, Classic Irish Album, Irish Song of the Year, Irish Artist of the Year, and Irish Breakthrough Artist of the Year – will all be revealed at the show, which will be broadcast live on RTÉ 2FM.
The winning Album of the Year act will receive a €10,000 prize fund, provided by IRMO and IRMA. All shortlisted acts will also receive a specially commissioned award.
The winners at last year's ceremony included Fontaines D.C., KNEECAP, Kabin Crew and Lisdoonvarna Crew's 'The Spark', Jordan Adetunji, and Enya's Watermark.
The Irish Album of the Year award is chosen from a shortlist of ten albums by a panel of eleven Irish music media professionals and industry experts – with Bricknasty, Maria Somerville and Dove Ellis also in the running for the prestigious prize.
