Cell mates
The newly reconvened Soft Cell jet in on October 16th for a show at the Dublin Ambassador.
They'll be coming armed with a new album, Cruelty Without Beauty, which according to our spies is well up to the duo's '80s scratch.
"With it being 17 years since our last record, This Last Night, we felt it important to go back to our roots in some way to establish who Soft Cell were and are," Marc Almond reflects. "A duo with an electronic sound. A singer and a keyboard, synthesiser player/producer. We do – and always will – have the odd 'live' sound but I'm enjoying singing to electronic music again."
