The result is included on the Libertines man's solo album.
Not to be outdone by his Libertines bandmate Pete Doherty, Carl Barat releases an eponymous album on October 1, which includes ‘The Fall’, a collaboration with The Divine Comedy’s Neil Hannon. Indeed, Carl told us about it last year when we cornered him at the JD Set bash in London.
“I went over to Dublin for a couple of days," he said. "It’s great learning how other people do things – just watching how people write.”
Also in the pipeline is Three Penny Memoir, which chronicles his highly eventful rock ‘n’ roll career.
Talking of the boy Hannon, the live document of his recent acoustic show in London’s Somerset House is available from [link]www.concertlive.co.uk/livecds.php[/link] priced twenty of your British pounds.
