Cancelled Horizon Festival 'Will be Back Next Year'
The organiser of the cancelled Horizon Festival which was due to take place next month has insisted that ticket-buyers will be refunded, and that the event will go ahead next year.
Venom Events announced last week that it was cancelling the Horizon Music Festival because of issues arising from its choice of venue – the second location due to host the event.
The festival was originally advertised as taking place at Fairyhouse Racecourse on July 1 and 2, but last month it was announced it would instead be held at Drumbaragh House, Kells, Co Meath, on August 20 and 21. Last week it was revealed that the event would not go ahead.
Lukas Salamandra of Venom Events said he personally stands to lose €57,000 as a result of the cancellation of the dance music festival and that he is working on refunding all those that bought tickets.
