Cable Boy have announced they will be heading on their first Irish tour to coincide with their debut album release.
Cable Boy is a five-piece dream-pop and shoegaze rock band from Dublin, formed in late 2018.
The band, which consists of frontman Semilore Olusa, keyboardist Corneille Tshibasu, guitarist Jason Aikhionbare, bassist Liam Murray, and drummer Fionn Maguire O'Loughlin, released their debut EP, Whole, in 2019.
Since then, they have released a number of singles, such as 'Let's Go!' and 'When I'm With You,' and have performed at Electric Picnic in 2024 and Forbidden Fruit in 2025.
This April will see the group embark on their first Irish tour, starting in Oh Yeah Music Center, Belfast, on April 25, before heading to the Róisín Dubh Upstairs, Galway, on May 1, Wavelength, Cork, on May 8, and finishing in The Grand Social, Dublin, on May 15.
Cable Boy are also set to release their debut album, FOREVER, this April, with an exact date still to be announced.
Tickets for the tour go on sale this Friday, January 9, at 10AM via Ticketmaster.ie.
