Bryson Tiller to release first half of double album
The double album release Solace & The Vices coincides with the ten-year anniversary of his 2015 hit project T R A P S O U L
Bryson Tiller has announced the release of The Vices, the first instalment of his upcoming double album Solace & The Vices, scheduled to drop on August 8.
The project is described as “a fresh chapter in Tiller’s ever-evolving sound” and features production from Charlie Heat, Teddy Walton, Hitmaka and Gravez.
The second half of the album, Solace, is set for release later this year and will “take a more introspective approach” as Tiller describes it as his "own personal therapy session", exploring themes of reflection, growth and emotional clarity.
The dual album release coincides with the anniversary of his 2015 debut album T R A P S O U L, which featured hit tracks ‘Don’t’, ‘Exchange’ and ‘Right My Wrongs’.
The Kentucky native has accumulated over 2.5 million monthly Spotify listeners, with ‘Don't’ having received No. 13 on the Billboard Hot 100 and septuple platinum certification by the Recording Industry Association of America.
He is a three-time Grammy Award nominee, two of which were for his work with singer H.E.R. on her 2018 single 'Could've Been' and 2021 album Back of My Mind.
Tiller recently collaborated with Chris Brown on the track ‘It Depends', released last week.
The Vices is set for release on August 8.
