Burt Bacharach Returns to Dublin
Musical legend Burt Bacharach will return to Dublin to play in the beautiful Iveagh Gardens.
Recipient of three Academy Award and eight Grammy Awards, Burt Bacharach revolutionized the music of the 1950s and 60s. He is regularly named alongside music's most influential figures ranging from Cole Porter to Sir George Martin, as one of a handful of visionaries who pioneered new forms of music from the second half of the 20th Century and continued into the 21st Century. Currently, the 90-year-old is touring the world, conducting orchestras with his own musicians and singers at sold-out concerts.
Renowned for hits such as ‘I’ll Never Fall in Love Again’, ‘Anyone Who Had A Heart’, ‘The Look of Love’, ‘I Say A Little Prayer’ and ‘Walk On By’, his songs have been recorded by legendary singers, such as Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Barbra Streisand, Neil Diamond, Linda Ronstadt, Dionne Warwick, and Aretha Franklin.
In 2008 he was proclaimed music’s “Greatest Living Composer.”
Now the hitmaker has announced he will return to Dublin to perform in the beautiful environs of the Iveagh Gardens on July 2oth 2019.
Tickets go on sale this Thursday, December 6th at 9 am from Ticketmaster.
