Bryan Ferry added to Kilkenny's Source festival
The Roxy Music mainman will be playing alongside Bob Geldof and James Taylor among others at the summer hoe down
Three musical legends for the price of one is the deal as Bryan Ferry is added to the bill for Smithwick's Source 2004 which takes place in Kilkenny's Nowlan Park on July 18.
While fans will have to wait until 2005 for a new album, the Roxy Music mainman can be heard doing his lounge lizard thing on a track from the new Jane Birkin album, Rendez-Vous. If recent live appearances are anything to go by, Ferry will be drawing on every phase of his 35-year career which has produced such gems as 'Virginia Plain', 'Pyjamarama', 'Let's Stick Together' and 'More Than This'.
Along with fellow legends Bob Geldof and James Taylor, the bill also includes young whipper snappers Katie Melua, Juliet Turner and Beth Nielsen Chapman.
Extra tickets for the bash go on sale on May 21.
