WATCH: Bruce Springsteen enlisted by Don Winslow for anti-Trump video
The video comes just ahead of President Trump's rally in Pennsylvania.
Writer Don Winslow – a popular American crime novelist who has written three New York Times Critics Choice Best Books of the Year – has enlisted the help of Bruce Springsteen for an anti-Trump video.
The video uses Springsteen's 'Streets of Philadelphia', as news clippings highlight how Trump's time in the White House and his trade war with China has put the livelihoods of farmers and agricultural workers at risk. The video also details the 8, 000 deaths the State has suffered due to Covid-19, as well as "unprecedented unemployment rates" and the State's opioid crisis, which according to the video has seen the fourth highest number of opioid-related deaths in the nation.
The short clip ends with words from Martin Luther King Jr.: "Go to the polls on the 3rd of November and vote your convictions." The video appeared on Winslow's Twitter, alongside the hashtag "#AmericaNeedsPennsylvania" and features the slogan "End the chaos."
