Brother play the Academy 2 in April
It looks like "Gritpop" is making its way to Irish shores
Oasis' heirs apparent, Brother have just announced plans to play their first ever Irish show. Labelling their sound as "Gritpop" (which basically means they sound exactly like old Britpop), the Slough-based band have been whipping up a minor storm in the British music press recently.
Expect plenty of snarl, attitude and perhaps a few decent anthems when they arrive in Dublin on Tuesday April 19.
Tickets are priced at €13.50 inclusive of booking fee and are on sale now from Ticketmaster outlets nationwide and [link]www.ticketmaster.ie[/link].
