Breakfast
Hip hop’s dynamic duo live up to the hype.
Hailing from West Philadelphia Chiddy Bang have been widely accepted as rap’s latest heroes and Breakfast is the duo’s hugely anticipated debut. Referencing a multitude of eras in American music history, the 14-track effort is a hook-laden, hip hop tour-de-force that’s as at home with future pop sensibilities (‘Ray Charles’) as it is with straight ahead urban anthems (‘Whatever We Want’). Outkast, Dr. Dre and even the lip-licking legend that is LL Cool J are all massive influences on the record. Breakfast is a very tasty offering indeed.
