Boyfrens and Post Punk Podge join forces on new single 'Stop The Bombing' in aid of War Child
Boyfrens will perform a launch gig at The Record Room in Limerick tonight, September 26, with all ticket revenue going to War Child.
Boyfrens and Post Punk Podge have teamed up to release 'Stop The Bombing', a powerful protest track written and recorded in solidarity with the people of Palestine. All proceeds from the song will be donated to War Child.
War Child is an international NGO founded in 1993, whose mission is to protect and support children affected by conflict. Its work spans emergency psychosocial care, education, child protection, and advocacy.
Boyfrens will perform a launch gig at The Record Room in Limerick tonight, September 26, with all revenue from ticket sales going to the same cause. The track is available via Bandcamp and across all major streaming platforms (with the exception of Spotify).
In an era of global unrest and ongoing conflict, 'Stop The Bombing' aims to channel outrage through art. By tapping into the long tradition of musical protest, the track looks to raise awareness, spark conversation, and give support where it’s needed most.
Boyfrens and Podge are transparent about their aims: this isn’t just a symbolic gesture. Every euro made from streams and live ticket sales will go straight to supporting vulnerable children in war zones through War Child.
