Bono collaborates with Daniel Lanois
The U2 producer and collaborator enlists the vocal stylings of Emmylou Harris and Bono for forthcoming solo album
As revealed last year by hotpress.com, Bono is set to make a guest appearance on the new solo album by U2 producer and collaborator Daniel Lanois.
Due on April 22 through Anti/Epitaph, Shine features Mr. Hewson's vocal talents on a track called 'Falling At Your Feet'. Also muscling in on the old pals' act is Emmylou Harris who sings on the opening 'I Love You'.
Talking to Rolling Stone, Lanois says: "I wanted the album to be one of those that you put on and never take off. I wanted it to have songs that could be embraced by all – popular songs and also mystery songs, snapshot songs, smaller songs, and I wanted to include tripped-out psychedelic instrumentals that take people on a journey."
