Bob Dylan reaches first No. 1 hit with 'Murder Most Foul'
It's at the very top of the rock digital song sales chart.
Bob Dylan's first new song since 2012 is a track about the Kennedy assassination. Dylan released the 17-minute long 'Murder Most Foul' as a surprise on March 27th, and had been downloaded 10, 000 times between its release and April 2nd.
Billboard pointed out that other artists have had no. 1 hits with Dylan's songs, but this is the first track Dylan has earned a number one hit with his own vocal and name. The American troubadour won a Nobel prize for Literature in 2016.
