Rock royalty was in the house as the first ever group of graduates were celebrated last night
Bob Geldof stopped by BIMM Dublin last night to make a special presentation to the first ever graduating class.
While he didn't quite go Bobby Boomtown - the snakeskin suit was replaced by a natty brown number - the rock legend was able to impart plenty of advice to the class of 2015, who are now the proud owners of a BA in Commercial Modern Music from Ireland’s first degree level course in modern music.
Bob has, of course, been a loyal supporter of BIMM Dublin since it first opened in the capital in 2010. Boasting an academic staff that includes Dave Geraghty, Mik Pyro and Cathy Davey, it specialises in gearing students up for a successful career in the industry - something on which their new buddy Bob can certainly give some guidance!
