The Workman’s Club is throwing a free August 9 – 12 Block Party, which breaks down as follows:
Thursday – Totally Wired comedy duo and Shane O’Donoghue’s new Misnomer exhibition,
Friday – Katie Kim and Last Days Of 1984,
Saturday – Pop-up indoor market including Richter Collective, Eleven Eleven, Popical Island and Quarter Inch Collective record stalls, Digital SLR Workshop, whiskey tasting in the Bison Bar (this you’ll have to cough up a few shekels for), Ableton demo, VerseChorusVerse, You Kiss By The Book, Alarmist, Kid Karate, Overhead The Albatross and a DJ set from Fight Like Apes’ May Kay,
Sunday – Oxfam Vintage Shop, Cut & Sew Pop-Up Barber Shop, Cinema Paradiso screening and Dress Dance.
