Bleachers - Rollarcoaster
The brainchild of former Fun guitarist Jack Antonoff, Bleachers' sound is unashamedly steeped in '80s indie rock and pop and the evergreen work of film-maker John Hughes.
'Rollercoaster' doesn't break the mould too much, but as the synth-driven single features a huge, world-beating chorus and a Flock Of Seagulls-meets-'Hungry Heart'-era-Springsteen swagger, we can forgive his shameless purloining of bands from the past.
