Best Coast Slams Chris Brown for 'perpetuating rape culture'

Best Coast singer, Bethany Consentino, has slammed Chris Brown for the track 'Back to Sleep', arguing that the hit single perpetuates rape culture.
Consentino took to Twitter to call out Brown and the team behind the song.
Consentino said that the Brown track is "disgusting" and "saddens" her in a series of tweets. She concluded "rape culture is everywhere and it's a big problem."

Brown pleaded guilty to a felony assault on his then girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 while Consentino is an outspoken feminist who earlier this year penned a missive on misogyny in the music industry for Lena Dunham's Lenny Letter.
