Berkeley mania descends on hotpress.com
Between streaming songs, free gigs and t-shirt giveaways, Berkeley are one mighty generous band. Oh and they're music is pretty damn impressive too - judge it for yourself.
Things are heating up in the world of Donegal three-piece Berkeley. Tomorrow sees the release of 'Follow Through' - the second single from their excellent debut album Hope, Prayers and Bubblegum.
Issued as an Ireland-only limited edition, the single includes two exclusive new tracks that don’t feature on their album: ‘Brand New Way To Fall Apart’ and ‘Clowns’.
You can listen to a streamed version of ‘Follow Through’ by clicking on these links:

And if you like the sound of Berkeley through your computer speakers then imagine what they're like in all their live glory.
In Dublin you can catch them at The Hub on Friday November 7, alongside Million Dead and Cold War. Then they'll be ripping it up in Belfast, where they play a Belfast Queens Festival gig on November 8 - but not before dropping into Tower Records (Wicklow Street) for an in-store performance at 1.15pm. They'll be siging copies of their new single.
The busy bees that they are, Berkeley will also be playing the following gigs in the lead up to Christmas. What’s more these gigs are free – yes, you read that right - FREE! (Trying to get on Santa’s Good Punk Rockers list, no doubt.)
December 4: DCU Students Bar
December 5: McGarrigles, Sligo
December 7: DeBarras, Clonakilty, Co. Cork
December 13: McGarrigles, Sligo
December 20: The Stables, Mulligar
In honour of all this Berkeley mania, hotpress.com has a bumper giveaway for one very lucky person. It’s an exclusive set of Berkeley merchandise, including the much sought-after ‘Fuck This Gig’ t-shirt.
Email [email protected] along with all your details and you’ll be in the draw. It really is that simple!
