Asturias is a Spanish musician who has been living in the west since the mid-90s and was a former member of the band Charis.

Recently diagnosed with a rare disease called Amyloidosis, Asturias will need a cardiac transplant. To help with the cost of the operation, his friends are holding their benefit concert at Roisin Dubh in Galway tomorrow night (December 3).

The line-up will include DJ Will, Carla Merrigan, Lucia Evans, Armada Latina, The Disconauts and The Lazy Blues Band.

Tickets will go for €10. Doors open starting at 9 p.m. till late.
