Listen to the new EP below.
The Oh Yeah Music Centre in Belfast has released this year's showcase EP from its annual talent development programme, Scratch My Progress. Now in its 13th year, the initiative continues to support Northern Ireland’s emerging artists.
This year’s featured acts include Touzai, Aqua Tofana, Madams Last Discovery, Sophie French, and Moon Landing. All five original tracks were recorded as part of the programme, which runs yearly from September to May.
Scratch My Progress offers mentoring and industry support to new Northern Irish artists. Participants benefit from one-to-one guidance with major industry companies, including Atlantic, Parlophone, Domino Records, and others.
Since its launch in 2011, the programme has mentored a diverse range of talent, including NI Music Prize winners Problem Patterns, Kitt Philippa, Sasha Samara, and Sister Ghost, as well as media personalities like Gemma Bradley and Emer Maguire.
Graduates of the programme have gone on to perform at Glastonbury, secure national airplay on BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music, and sign record and publishing deals.
The EP is now available to stream and includes the new tracks: 'Unconditionally' by Aqua Tofana, 'Tiger Song' by Touzai, 'Friday Feels' by Sophie French, 'It's a Big Small World' by Moon Landing, and 'Champagne' by Madams Last Discovery.
