Belfast singer-songwriter Mark Hegan releases new single
The track has has gained support from radio stations such as BBC Radio One and Belfast's Q Radio.
'Love is Gonna Hurt this Way Forever' is the latest release from Northern Irish musician Mark Hegan.
This is Mark’s second single since the release of his debut EP, Human Mind, which was launched at the ‘Sound of Belfast’ festival late last year.
The track has has gained support from radio stations such as BBC Radio One and Belfast's Q Radio. Explaining the story behind the indie-rock track Hegan says, "In short, it admits that love is about compromise and hurt, but that there is something sacred in finding a person whose broken pieces fit with yours.”
True to his roots Hegan describes his sound as ,“if Green Day and U2 had a baby and raised it in Bangor on the North-East coast of Ireland.
The Northern Ireland Music Prize nominee has recently had gigs in Oh Yeah Music Centre in Belfast, and will play Output as part of Sound of Belfast on November 13.
