Northern Irish singer-songwriter Mark Hegan releases highly anticipated EP Human Mind

Rising star Mark Hegan returned this month with his new EP, Human Mind.

The EP was launched at the 'Sound Of Belfast', an annual festival celebrating the best of what the Belfast music scene has to offer. The reception for the EP, featuring lead single 'Goodbye Love', has been nothing short of astounding. With radio stations such as Today FM, BBC Introducing, Q Radio and XS Noize showing their support for it. Mark is no stranger to this kind of success, having already clocked up airtime on BBC Radio One, BBC Radio Two and BBC Radio Ulster, as well as scoring NI Music Prize nominations.

'Goodbye Love', the EP's lead single, is an indie-pop banger about trying to leave behind the bad parts of life. His heartfelt lyrics combined with hypnotic beats makes for a brilliant listen. It's no surprise that his music has earned him comparisons to icons like Bruce Springsteen, U2 and Gang Of Youths.
