Beck to release new album

Following a triptych of summer singles, Beck has announced the upcoming release of a new full-length album.

Last year saw an unusual release from the alt-rock singer-songwriter, when he opted to produce Song Reader, an album in the form of a folder containing sheet music and not a single recording from the artist himself.

Early this year the Portland Cello Project decided to take up Beck's challenge by recording the entire album. Click here for the Soundcloud of their version.

Beck has released three singles so far this year, 'Gimme', 'Defriended' and 'I Won't Be Long', though they do not look set to feature on the upcoming album. Listen to the latest release, 'Gimme', below.
