Babyshambles announce new album plans

He's been in the papers of late for sharing a Parisian flat with Macaulay Culkin and planning to sell Amy Winehouse's fag ends, but finally we can start talking about Pete Doherty for his music again.

Babyshambles' third album Sequel To The Prequel is on the way, set to be released through Parlophone on Friday August 31.

New single 'Nothing Comes To Nothing' – the final version of which Doherty says "actually made me cry" – will arrive one week beforehand.

Stephen Street was manning the controls again, with the LP being recorded in Question Du Son, Paris, and mixed in London's Bunker.
