Avril Lavigne for Belfast

October 6 is the date for every sk8er boi and chick to earmark, as Avril Lavigne descends on Belfast's Odyssey Arena.

The announcement follows on from Lavigne's visit to Derry as part of the recent One Big Weekend festival. The Belfast date will be her only Irish stop over as part of the LIVE Tour in support of her new Under My Skin album.

Tickets for the gig, priced from £22.50, will go on sale this Friday June 4 from the venue box office and the usual outlets nationwide.
