Ariana Grande's Ex Speaks About Break-Up

Mac Miller, former boyfriend of pop star Ariana Grande, has spoken out about their split for the first time.

Miller, who has recently put out a new song called 'What's The Use' said during an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1, that "We worked through good times, bad times, stress and everything else. And then it came to an end and we both moved on. And it's that simple, you know?"

The hip hop artist said he felt strange about the singers new romantic partner, Pete Davidson, due to the couple's quick engagement. However, he said it was all positive energy. The 'No Tears Left to Cry' singer announced her engagement to Pete Davidson after a month of dating.

The couple parted ways after two years of being together.

Fans had been messaging the artist asking whether he was OK, due to is lack of social media prescense after the split. Miller said:

"I haven't been on the internet," he said. "So, you know, people have assumed that I'm ... 'Are you OK? Is everything OK?'" Because I was about to drop the album. And also, like, I don't know, it just all seemed kind of unimportant, the need to show people I was OK. Like, what is that? Where does that come from? Why? Why do we have this need to use social media and the internet?"
