The track was recorded during Grande's massive charity gig for the victims of the Manchester attacks this Sunday.
Following her One Love Manchester charity gig which raised over £2million for victims of the Manchester bombing and their families, Ariana Grande continued to go above and beyond in her efforts to support the victims by releasing her live performance of the classic "Over the Rainbow" as a charity single. Her original track, "One Last Time" has also been re-released as a charity single, and is closing in on a number one spot on the U.K charts.
The benefit gig on Sunday saw Grande returning to the site of the attacks less than a month later, with a star-studded list of guest stars including everyone from Miley Cyrus to Coldplay. Niall Horan played an emotional rendition of his new single "This Town", and Liam Gallagher also performed at the gig, where Grande herself sang the Oasis classic "Don’t Look Back In Anger." After the gig, Gallagher tweeted, “What an amazing night last night pure love vibrations nobody comes close to Manchester love forever LG.” He has announced that he will also be donating royalties to charities for the Manchester victims.
