All-Ireland Radioplayer now available
The app allows you to tune in to every radio station in the Republic.
A big step forward for fans of the wireless today, as the country's first ever All-Ireland Radioplayer App becomes available to download for free.
A joint endeavour between RTÉ and the Independent Broadcasters of Ireland (IBI), the launch of the Irish Radioplayer is a significant development in Irish radio. It means all RTÉ FM and digital radio stations – as well as all local, regional and national commercial radio stations – are now available easily on smartphones. You can get the app through iTunes App Store and the Google Play Store. Click here for more.
Minister for Communications, Alex White TD commented: "The Irish Radioplayer app will be of great benefit to all Irish radio stations that take part in it. Listeners will benefit from having a quality audio stream of their favourite local, regional or national radio shows available, regardless of where they are. It’s also an innovative way of promoting Irish stations in an increasingly competitive multi-platform environment."
