Belfast’s Oh Yeah Music Centre is the venue on February 5 for Songs Of Protest, a celebration of agitpop from “dustbowl ballads to ‘60s anthems, through to punk, Public Enemy and the new voice of dissent.”
Among those having their say are Good Vibrations founder Terri Hooley (pictured back in the '70s), NI Civil Rights Association lynchpin Ivan Cooper, playwright Anne Devlin, and BBC Radio Foyle DJ and Oppenheimer muse Stephen McAuley.
Running from 7 to 9pm, the free event also features live music from Tin Pot Operation, Cara Robinson, Acoustic Dan, Joe Mulheron and Scream Blue Murmur.
