Adele to headline Glastonbury 2016?
Rumours abound that singer will hit Worthy Farm - with new album in tow
With Adele's third studio album 25 apparently on its way soon, bookmakers have slashed odds of the star headlining Glastonbury next year.
The record-breaking songstress has dropped as low as evens with some bookies, after a rush of money on her paying a trip to the Eavis homestead next summer. The Foo Fighters are, in most minds, all but guaranteed to hit Worthy Farm, making up for their enforced absence this year after Dave Grohl broke his leg.
Meanwhile, Adele is also rumoured to be in talks with the BBC for a TV special to launch her new album. One tabloid quotes a source as saying "Adele is simply too big just to be part of a green room of guests on a chat show. She deserves her own dedicated programme where the spotlight will only be on her."
The album, if reports are to be believed, is due to land in November.
