There's no surprise at the summit of this week's rundown, as even the likes of Justin Bieber, One Direction are left in 25's wake - but it's a fantastic week for Irish acts
In what can only be described as a foregone conclusion, Adele has taken her place atop the Irish album charts.
25 has already been named the fastest selling album in history in the US and the UK, so it's little surprise that it's shot into top spot at the first time of asking. On any other week superstars like Justin Bieber and One Direction would be sitting pretty, but they have to be content with second and third place respectively.
From there, the rundown takes an encouragingly Irish shape, as Hometown jump in at No. 4 with their self-titled debut. Our cover star Gavin James proves it's not just pop behemoths who can shift copies as his Bitter Pill enters at No. 5, while two places below Enya's comeback album Dark Sky Island makes its debut, making a sandwich of the sixth-placed Ed Sheeran.
It's not often you'll find the names of Elvis Presley, Nathan Carter and Little Mix used in the same breath, but today's the day; they round out the top ten.
