Aaron Rowe to join Ed Sheeran on North American tour
The Dublin singer describes Sheeran as a "mentor, a best pal and a brother."
Dublin singer-songwriter Aaron Rowe will join Ed Sheeran as a support act on the North American leg of his upcoming world tour.
The tour will be in support of his latest album Play, released earlier this month.
Rowe shared the news on Instagram, saying he first connected with Sheeran after the star heard a demo of his track 'The Lane' and asked to meet him while visiting Dublin.
“Since that day he’s become a mentor, a best pal and a brother,” said Rowe. “Someone who always has my back and will always find time. I'll never forget what you’ve done for me bro and I’m so honoured to be on these shows. America see you next year x”

Rowe released his debut single 'Hey Ma' earlier this year, followed by his first EP Exodus. His music blends influences from American soul legends like Sam Cooke and Otis Redding with British rock icons such as The Stone Roses and Oasis.
At the end of the year Sheeran will play a number of small gigs in Europe, with four dates scheduled before a show at Dublin’s 3Arena on December 9.
He will then head to New Zealand and Australia for the Loop tour before beginning the North American leg, where Rowe will perform as an opener.
