A Place To Bury Strangers release ‘Time' the final single and video from new rarities album
The single completes their compilation album of demos, B-sides and abandoned experiments from 2015-2025.
A Place To Bury Strangers have released the final single and video, ‘Time’ from their new compilation album Rare and Deadly.
Rare and Deadly features non-album tracks, B-sides, demos, and abandoned experiments spanning 2015–2025 from frontman Oliver Ackermann's personal vault.
The album has an unusual release strategy as the vinyl, CD, cassette and digital release all feature unique tracklists.
The release comes ahead of their shows at The Deer's Head, Belfast on August 28, Róisín Dubh, Galway on August 29 and The Grand Social, Dublin on August 30.
The band formed in New York in 2002 and have been dubbed the “loudest band in New York" due to their intense live performances. They are known to deliver a heavy "wall of sound" that fuses elements of rock, post-punk, and electronic music.
This release follows on from their 2024 album, Synthesiser, which was built around physical, custom made circuit boards.
