The Saw Doctors to work around Ireland vs New Zealand match for 3Olympia Theatre gig
Fans can look forward to an evening of both music and rugby at 3Olympia Theatre this weekend
What was shaping up to be a major clash for fans of both The Saw Doctors and Irish rugby has now turned into one of the hottest tickets in town this weekend – as Dublin's 3Olympia Theatre share an important message for those attending the Irish band's headline show this Saturday, October 14.
To work around Ireland's highly anticipated Rugby World Cup quarter-final match against New Zealand, The Saw Doctors will now take to the stage at 10pm. Ahead of their performance, the match will be shown on the venue's big screen, kicking off at 8pm. Doors will be open from 7pm.
Saturday will be the first of The Saw Doctors' run of three headline gigs at 3Olympia Theatre – with the other shows taking place on October 27 and October 28. Tickets for all three shows sold-out, though a very limited number of resale tickets are currently available from Ticketmaster.
These are The Saw Doctors' first Dublin gigs in six years, and follow a string of acclaimed international shows and festival appearances.
Ireland take on New Zealand on Saturday at the Stade de France in Saint-Denis, following four wins in their four Rugby World Cup games so far.
