Universal Pictures has released the first look at Steven Spielberg's new film Disclosure Day ahead of its official release on June 12, 2026.
Starring Emily Blunt, Josh O'Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson and Colman Domingo, Disclosure Day imagines the moment when proof of extraterrestrial life can no longer be contained.
The trailer features Emily Blunt as a Kansas City weather presenter who begins making strange sounds while on air. Meanwhile, Colin Firth's character is wired up to a machine, distressed by whatever is on the screen in front of him, while Josh O'Connor portrays a character who is seeking to give "full disclosure to the whole world, all at once."
An official logline for the film teases: “If you found out you weren’t alone, if someone showed you, proved it to you, would that frighten you? This summer, the truth belongs to seven billion people. We are coming close to... Disclosure Day.”
Disclosure Day is set to be released in cinemas on June 12, 2026.
