WATCH: Netflix releases trailer for Black Mirror Season 7
The season will include six episodes, set for release in April.
Netflix has released the trailer for Season 7 of the hit show Black Mirror.
The show will be available for streaming on April 10. For the first time, the series will reexamine characters from a previous episode. Cristin Milioti will return as computer programmer Nanette Cole from the Season 4 episode ‘USS Callister.’
Other stars featured on the season include Michele Austin, Ben Bailey Smith, Asim Chaudhry and Josh Finan. Previously announced cast members include Awkwafina, Peter Capaldi, Emma Corrin and Patsy Ferran.
"They’re all sci-fi stories, but there’s definitely some horrifying things that occur, but maybe not in an overt horror movie way. There’s definitely some disturbing content in it," said series creator Charlie Brooker.
Black Mirror debuted in 2011, and was acquired by Netflix in 2016. Since then, the show has earned eight Emmy awards and 14 nominations, recognising episodes like ‘San Junipero,’ ‘USS Callister’ and the interactive film Bandersnatch.
