WATCH: Maya Rudolph returns as Beyoncé on SNL
The sketch was a parody of popular YouTube channel 'Hot Ones'.
Maya Rudolph reprised her iconic Beyoncé impression on SNL this past Saturday (March 27), while she hosted the show with musical guest Jack Harlow.
Rudolph joined the cast in 2000 and was a member until 2007, but has appeared in multiple sketches since. She has played Beyoncé on the show before, including in a 2012 episode about baby Blue Ivy alongside Justin Timberlake, playing Bon Iver's Justin Vernon, Fred Armisen as Prince, and Kristen Wiig as Taylor Swift.
The costume worn by Rudolph in the 'Hot Ones' sketch is a callback to Beyoncé's Grammy outfit from this year, where the singer set a new record for most Grammys won by a female artist.
