A trailer for the upcoming RTÉ drama The Walsh Sisters has been released.
The six-part series is based on bestselling author Marian Keyes' novels Rachel's Holiday and Anybody Out There.
The show follows the lives of five sisters as they "grapple with personal challenges, relationships, and the complexities of modern life," according to the synopsis.
The cast includes Derry Girls actor Louisa Harland starring as Anna, Caroline Menton playing Rachel, Danielle Galligan as Claire, Máiréad Tyers playing Helen and Stefanie Preissner as Maggie.
Additionally, the cast features Aidan Quinn, Carrie Crowley, Jay Duffy, Samuel Anderson and Debi Mazar.
Keyes has sold over 40 million books and her work has been translated into 36 languages. She has won 5 Irish Book Awards and was named Author of the Year at the British Book Awards in 2022.
The show is directed by Ian Fitzgibbon, who has worked on series including Hullraisers, Moone Boy and Paths to Freedom.
The drama is set to debut on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player on Sunday, September 28.
