The Late Late Show to celebrate 100 years of Irish football this Friday
The show marks the 100 year anniversary of Irish football.
In a special episode celebrating 100 years of Irish football, this week's The Late Late Show will see President Michael D Higgins, David Gray, Dan McCabe, Paul McGrath, Vera Pauw and Niall Quinn chatting with Ryan Tubridy.
This weeks show will feature Michael D Higgins live in studio discussing his love of the sport, his time spent as the President of Ireland and his Machnamh 100 series of seminars on the War of Independence and Civil War.
Paul McGrath, Niall Quinn, David O'Leary, Packie Bonner and Shay Given will be on to share their memories of the glory days of Irish football to mark the 100 year anniversary of the game.
Current internationals Gavin Bazunu, Dra O'Shea, Jessie Stapleton and Chloe Mustaki and managers Vera Pauw and Stephen Kenny will also be guests on this week's episode.
To pay tribute to his father, the late, great Jack Charlton, John Charlton will be joining Friday's show.
'Babylon' singer-songwriter David Gray will be on to perform his song 'This Year's Love' and Dan McCabe will sing 'Fields of Athenry.'
