Sam Smith to appear on And Just Like That... season two

And Just Like That... will return for a second season, as teased by UK singer-songwriter Sam Smith.

Despite being different from what fans might have expected from a Sex and the City sequel, the mini-series is about to return for another season.

At this year's Grammys, the 30-year-old star performed alongside the Kim Petras, later picking up Best Pop Vocal Performance for 'Unholy'.

Now, the chart-topping Londoner has shared a teaser photo from the set of And Just Like That.... The caption for the photo reads, "Up to something unholy on set".

It is yet unknown whether Smith will play themselves or another character on the show.

The series takes place 11 years after the events of the film Sex and the City 2. While the 1998 romantic comedy-drama was about a group of friends dealing with problems in their 30s, the HBO revival jumps ahead to show them transitioning into their 50s.

The second season is expected to be released later this summer.
