Ryan Tubridy reveals two major special guests for The Late Late Show
The announcement for this week's Late Late Show guests came earlier than usual.
Two days in advance, Late Late Show host Ryan Tubridy already revealed two major guest stars for Friday night's episode. During his RTÉ Radio One show on Wednesday morning, he announced that Kiefer Sutherland and Jack Whitehall will be on the show as well as a slew of Irish stars.
Tubridy spoke about his plans to binge-watch Whitehall's Netflix comedy documentary series Travels With My Father in the coming days in preparation for the show. "I want to be fully Jack Whitehall-ed up and ready for the man himself when he comes on the show," he said. "I'm really intrigued to meet him and I'd say he's going to be a really delightful guest on the programme on Friday."
He then reveals another major guest, "I might as well tell you Kiefer Sutherland is going to be on Friday night as well. We're very excited about this. I watched all the 24s."
In addition, Tubridy teases a slew of Irish talents. "Like, I'm only telling you two bits. There's lots more happening on Friday", he adds. "The show is just singing at the moment; we're loving it. And that's just two guests for Friday - and that's before we get to the Irish haul of gold we have for you as well."
As usual, The Late Late Show airs tonight at 9.35pm on RTÉ One.
