Find ticket information below.
Ryan Tubridy has announced his live podcast tour The Bookshelf, set to commence in the Pavilion Theatre in Dublin on March 27, and finish in the 3Olympia Theatre on June 8. The set of shows will also stop in Cork, Limerick, and Galway.
The live events will include stories and questions from the audience, with each one featuring a different guest. Novelist Joseph O'Connor has been recently announced to appear at the first show in Pavilion Theatre.
The Bookshelf podcast sees the broadcaster and author Ryan Tubridy talk with his guests about the books that have influenced their lives. Each week, he asks them questions about the books that influenced their childhood, the books that brought them joy, and the books that changed their life. He launched his podcast in 2024, and since then he's recorded over 60 episodes.
Tubridy has also written several books, including JFK in Ireland, The Irish Are Coming, and Patrick and the President. He also presented a number of shows on radio and television, most notably The Late Late Show (2009-2023), RTÉ 2fm's The Full Irish (2004–2009), and The Ryan Tubridy Show (2015–2023).
Tubirdy left RTÉ in 2023, following the payment scandal at the national broadcaster. Since then, he's been presenting The Ryan Tubridy Show on Dublin’s Q102, LMFM, Cork’s 96FM, and Live 95 FM. In March of this year, he will start his new Sunday show on the UK's Times Radio.
On Sunday, he appeared on Miriam O'Callaghan's Sunday with Miriam, marking his first RTÉ interview since leaving the broadcaster. Tubridy addressed the payments controversy, adding that he was open to returning to RTÉ in the future.
