Prime Video has released the first-look images from season two of Fallout.
The new season of the video game adaptation, which picks up in the aftermath of the season one finale, will premiere this December exclusively on the streaming service.
Set in Los Angeles two centuries after a nuclear apocalypse, Fallout explores a divided society – those who survive in luxury underground vaults versus those left to fend for themselves on the irradiated surface.
Directed by Jonathan Nolan, the series weaves together three intersecting storylines in an original continuation of the games’ universe.

“This show isn’t really about destroying the world, it’s about rebuilding it and what that really looks like.”
Elsewhere in the interview, MacLachlan, who plays Hank MacLean, compared his character to his well-known role as Dale Cooper in Twin Peaks.
“Like him, Hank is a very positive and optimistic leader… There was almost a bit of religious, evangelical calling present.”
