Paul Mescal and Daisy Edgar-Jones reunite for Normal People screening in aid of Pieta and UNICEF
Tickets for the screening will be raffled off through a donation link for the charities.
Stars of Normal People Paul Mescal and Daisy-Edgar Jones will be reuniting for a special marathon screening of the miniseries, followed by a Q&A.
All proceeds from the raffle will be going to sucide and self harm prevention charity Pieta, as well as international children's charity UNICEF.
Mescal and Edgar-Jones will attend the event, taking place June 16 at a Central London cinema, as well as director Lenny Abrahamson, producer Ed Guiney and other “friends from the show.”
The duo caused a stir on the internet on Tuesday when they posted a selfie together with the caption, “We’ve got some news to share!! Watch this space.”
The producer of Normal People, Element Pictures, also reposted the picture, inciting rumours that the announcement was somehow related to the show.
Reactions from fan’s varied from happy to “disappointed it’s not a new project together.”

In the announcement video, Mescal said “We are incredibly sorry if we led people on, it’s not a season two”, to which Edgar-Jones replied “not yet, still time.”
Since his success in Normal People, Mescal has starred in Maggie Gyllenhaal’s The Lost Daughter, Charlotte Wells’ Aftersun and Andrew Haigh’s All of Us Strangers, and is set to star in the upcoming Gladiator sequel.
Edgar-Jones, has featured alongside Andrew Garfield in Under the Banner of Heaven, earned critical acclaim for her role in the film adaptation of Where the Crawdads Sing and will next be seen in the remake of Twisters.
