Netflix announces Space Force, reveals trailer
The Inside Joke: Space Force podcast will also launch on May 29.
Netflix has announced a brand new comedy series called Space Force, starring Steve Carrell, John Malkovich, Lisa Kudrow and the late Fred Willard, who passed away a few days ago.
Carrell will play a decorated pilot who has dreams of running the airforce, but is instead tapped to lead a newly-formed branch of the US Armed Forces: Space Force. Hilarity is sure to ensue as he and his colourful crew are tasked by the White House to help America colonise the moon.
In conjunction with the May 29 release of the series, star Jimmy O. Yang will also host a ten part podcast called 'Inside Joke: Space Force', where the cast and crew will join to explore the stories behind the series. The podcast will air every Monday and Thursday.
