Moxie and Brooke Scullion included in this week's Late Late Show line-up
Ryan Tubridy will welcome Gaelic football manager Jim Gavin, best-selling author Cecelia Ahern, and Ireland's Eurovision hopeful Brooke Scullion on this week's Late Late Show. Musical guest Moxie will also be performing.
On this week's edition of The Late Late Show, Ryan Tubridy will be joined by guests Jim Gavin, Cecelia Ahern and Brooke Scullion with a performance by alt-folk group Moxie.
Jim Gavin - one of the greatest managers in Gaelic football history and five-in-a-row mastermind - is now at the head of a very different challenge. He will be chairing the upcoming Citizens' Assembly on a directly elected mayor of Dublin.
But with his career in football, experience as a military pilot, work with the Irish Aviation Authority, and Freedom of the City of Dublin award - it's safe to say he’s the right man for the job. He'll be joining Ryan to speak about his upcoming chair role and much more.
Best-selling author Cecelia Ahern will speak about Roar, a televised adaptation of her short story collection. Apple TV+'s Roar is produced and starred by Nicole Kidman who has gained major media attention in the last week.
Ryan will also chat to Cecelia about her massive success with her previous novels PS, I Love You; Where Rainbows End; and If You Could See Me Now.
Derry's Brooke Scullion will be in studio to perform her dance-floor anthem 'That's Rich' before her to flight to Italy, where she will represent Ireland at the Eurovision Song Contest.
She'll be reflecting with Ryan on her life since winning the Late Late Show Eurosong in February and her feelings about her upcoming performance at the Eurovision Semi-Final in Turin on May 12th. Irish hopes are pinned on her entry to bring the country to the finals this year.
Plus, there will be a special performance from musical guest Moxie. The eclectic Irish alt-folk group will be performing 'The Place Above'.
