Love Island: All Stars gives past stars another coupling-up shot
Maya Jama has been confirmed as the host for the new spin-off TV series.
ITV has confirmed that previous stars of the international sensation, Love Island, will get a second shot at romance with the brand new series Love Island: All Stars.
It's been highly requested that familiar faces from the show's past come back and be given the chance to couple-up once again in the villa located in South Africa.
Currently hosted by Maya Jama, the English television presenter and radio DJ, the original show has seen slight dip in popularity lately, with the lauch of the new spin off series hoping to reunite fans with some of their favourites, in order to reignite their love for the show.
Love Island: All Stars will make its on-screen debut in 2024, with past contestants coupling-up and bombshells putting these relationships to the test.
Irish fans are praying for a Maura Higgins return to the show, as her presence in the villa made for some excellent online content and memes still referenced to this day.
Creative director at production company Lifted Entertainment, Mike Spencer, said: "It has been rumoured now for a while but we are thrilled to finally confirm that we are making Love Island: All Stars early next year for ITV2 and ITVX. It's set to be a must-watch series seeing some of your favourite islanders from across the years heading back to the stunning South African villa to once again 'graft’ as their search for love continues. I simply can’t wait."
Paul Mortimer, director of reality commissioning and acquisitions for ITV2, said: "Set in our luxurious South African villa, I know the audience will welcome back some of the most iconic islanders, as they set out in pursuit of love all over again in a brand new version of our worldwide hit."
