Legacy Recordings and RCA Records announce soundtrack for new Elvis Presley in Concert film

Legacy Recordings and RCA Records have announced the official soundtrack to Baz Luhrmann’s EPiC: Elvis Presley in Concert.

The score will accompany the premiere of the film, available on February 20 exclusively for IMAX Cinema. Following its global release on February 27, EPiC will arrive in the year marking the 49th anniversary of Presley's passing.

Featuring 27 tracks, EPiC, produced by Grammy nominated Luhrmann and Jamieson Shaw, will include fresh remixes and two new medleys. One of the reimagined medleys, 'Wearin' That Night Life Look' is available now.

"We were constantly asking ourselves, what would Elvis do if he were around?", said Baz Luhrmann about the new tracks on the album.

The film will depict a collection of Presley's '70s performances, which also include unreleased audio recordings of Elvis speaking about his life.

“[Elvis was] totally at ease on stage, able to feel the true love of his fans and communicate himself with an intimacy and humanity, unlike any other artist”, Luhrmann added.
