'Laughter in the Eyre' to be broadcast on RTÉ

On Thursday, 30th January at 10.30pm, RTÉ will broadcast Galway's 'Laughter in the Eyre' – showcasing some of the country's best comedians.

Last October, film crews took over the Vodafone Comedy Carnival in the festival capital to capture some of the hilarious energy. Presented by Anna Clifford and Karl Spain, the special will feature sets from the likes of Andrew Maxwell, Regina D Hunter, Terry Alderton, Jo Caulfield and Seann Walsh.

Galway will have its much-deserved year as the European Capital of Culture 2020, so there's really no better time to tune in. You can watch the hysterical trailer for the broadcast below:
